The Right Honourable Mike Moore Member of Parliament Prime Minister of New Zealand.

e it known by all and singular that the Wizard of
Christchurch, Living Work of Art at the National Gallery of
Victoria and the Robert MacDougal Art Gallery in
Christchurch, and Cosmologer of the University of Melbourne,
formerly known as Ian Brackenbury Channell; is hereby
appointed the first Wizard of New Zealand, entitled to wear
the appropriate regalia and be required to carry out the
duties of national Wizard, namely to protect the Government,
to bless new enterprises, cast out evil spities, upset
fanatics, cheer up the population, attract tourists and in
particular to design and promote a new and improved universe
which puts New Zealand on top of the world both physically
and metaphysically.
